Article Withdrawal

Emerging Publishing Society has established a policy regarding the withdrawal, retraction, and replacement of published articles.

In academic publishing, the decision to accept a submitted paper for publication rests exclusively with the Editor-in-Chief. This decision is made in alignment with the general criteria established by the Editorial Board, while also ensuring compliance with legal standards related to plagiarism, libel, and copyright regulations.

A stringent oversight of the quality and integrity of published articles ensures that academic publishing serves as a lasting and essential archive of scientific research procedures and achievements. In this regard, Emerging Publishing Society is committed to facilitating the dissemination of scientific research by providing affordable solutions for authors, libraries, and scientific societies, while addressing the ethical, moral, and legal considerations involved.

In this context, it is acknowledged that, although infrequent, there may be instances where a published article needs to be withdrawn or accompanied by a disclaimer regarding its content. Such decisions are made only after thorough consideration of the specific circumstances and are based on a careful and responsible assessment by the Editor-in-Chief.

Article Withdrawal or Retraction

Article withdrawal or retraction: this is applies to submitted manuscripts that have been accepted for publication but are currently available only in a pre-publication format (Early Release). These manuscripts may contain errors or may have been inadvertently resubmitted after already being published elsewhere. In some cases, these articles might fail to adhere to established ethical guidelines, exhibit inconsistencies in the authors’ contributions, or present data whose integrity is questionable. Additionally, articles may be retracted to allow authors to correct any errors that were not identified prior to submission.

If an article is withdrawn, it will be removed from the Emerging Publishing Society website, and a statement will be issued to confirm that this action aligns with the established policy on article withdrawal or retraction. In cases where an article is retracted by the authors or the Editor-in-Chief of the journal, the article will also be removed, and a declaration signed by the authors and/or the Editor-in-Chief will be published in its place. This declaration will be clearly listed in the Journal's Table of Contents, accompanied by a link to the original article.

Article replacement: authors may wish to replace an article that is recognized as containing incorrect or misleading data such as to pose a serious threat to public health. A link will be provided to access the corrected article with confirmation of the paper status. A request for an article to be replaced may also be made by the publisher.

The electronic archives of the Emerging Publishing Society encompass all articles that have been accepted for publication, published, withdrawn, retracted, or replaced. The policy regarding article withdrawal, retraction, and replacement will be regularly updated and accessible on the Emerging Publishing Society website.
